General Terms and Conditions
IFLA is based in the Netherlands and for its daily functioning collects and processes data of its members and of those active in IFLA's Professional Units (e.g. Standing Committees, Core Activities).
The Dutch Data Protection Act (Wet bescherming persoonsgegevens -Wbp) addresses the handling of personal data and IFLA is obliged to comply with the Wbp.
In order to use and process the personal data of its members and affiliates IFLA needs you to agree to its Data Protection Policy.

To get the most from your membership we recommend that you select / tick all three permission boxes. Failure to select all three permission boxes may result in a decreased level of communication from IFLA staff and Sections.
IFLA takes the security of your member data seriously. Access to the membership database is restricted to IFLA staff members with direct responsibility for membership service or management of the website.
